La Trilogie des Vestiges
The solo exhibition of Mathieu Dufois, the first artist invited by Miyu Gallery, focuses on his Trilogy of Remains, three animated films made between 2012 and 2017, and the graphic elements that enabled him to make them, presented in an original assemblage. It literally unveils the backstage and pierces the secret of Mathieu Dufois’ cinematographic creation, to offer a new vision of the artist’s universe. The Trilogy of Remains reveals the nostalgic and distressing aspects of a distant but familiar memory, the remnants of a dream that haunts us.
