Cyril Pedrosa attended the École Goblin, in animation, before collaborating briefly with Disney Studios. He turned to graphic novels thanks to his meeting the scriptwriter David Chauvel. A dozen works were published from this collaboration, from1998 onwards.
He subsequently worked on his own stories, including Portugal (Éditions Dupuis, 2011). His latest work, L’Âge d’or, a two-volume political fable co-written with Roxanne Moreil, of which the last opus was released in 2020 (Éditions Dupuis), received the Fnac-France Inter BD prize in 2018. In parallel to his activity of comic book author, he develops contemporary drawing projects as an artist for Miyu gallery and pursues animation projects.
He is notably involved in the graphic development of Wolfwokers (Feature film by Tom Moore and Ross Stewart) and is currently in development of the writing and graphic research for his feature animation project, The Long Night (Miyu Productions and Modern Magic).
