Cartoon Physics is a stop-motion adaptation of a poem by Nick Flynn. The film delves into the mother-daughter relationship as the 3-year-old daughter explores her darkest impulses and fantasies, without any consequences—for now.
The mother becomes aware that her daughter is on the brink of discovering the ruthless laws of the real world. Yet, until that inevitable moment arrives, she is determined to shield and nurture the innocence that defines her daughter’s childhood.
