Miyu Productions is an audiovisual production company founded by Emmanuel-Alain Raynal in 2009, specializing in animation which produces short films, feature films and series. Since 2015, it has been co-directed by Emmanuel-Alain Raynal and Pierre Baussaron.
The company currently develops and produces a portfolio of approximately fifteen feature films, TV units and series, and twenty short films.
Among the feature films, Willows Blind, Sleeping Woman, by Pierre Földes, adapted from several short stories by Haruki Murakami, will be finalized in spring 2022. At the start of 2022, two new feature films go into production: Linda wants Chicken! by Chiara Malta and Sébastien Laudenbach as well as Planets by Momoko Seto. Miyu is also developing the next feature films by Ru Kuwahata and Max Porter, Yoko Kuno and Nobuhiro Yamashita, Marie Amachoukeli and Vladimir Mavounia-Kouka, Simon Rouby, and Félix Dufour Laperrière.
Several audiovisual projects are in development and production, such as the Claudy and Patouille series, unitaries such as Vaudou Miaou, by Osman Cerfon and Dewi Noiry, all three in development with France Télévisions, or Le Parfum d’Irak by Feurat Alani. and Léonard Cohen, a 90-minute animated documentary for ARTE.
Miyu Productions is finally developing an executive animation production business. She has notably worked on Biarritz Surf Gang (Cassidy for Studio +), Les Mystères de Paris (La Curieuse & Amopix for France 3), La Révolution Française (Nilaya Productions for France 2), Les Damnés de la commune (Cinétévé, 90 ‘for ARTE) and Napoleon, destiny and death (Please turn for Arte). Miyu also signed the executive production of the first season of Elliott From Earth for Cartoon Network.


Emmanuel-Alain Raynal is in charge of all the company’s networks and its contacts towards channels, institutions, producers, schools and authors. He drives new projects and leads the search for new authors. He is involved in the production strategy and the development of projects in collaboration with Pierre Baussaron. He is also vice-president of the Union of Independent Producers (SPI) in the field of animation.

Pierre Baussaron manages the company’s administrative and financial activities, the operational implementation of projects and the executive production activity. He is in charge of production strategy and projects development in collaboration with Emmanuel-Alain Raynal.

He joined the Union of Independent Producers (SPI) in 2005 and was appointed cinema delegate in 2008. He held this position for eleven years, during which he defended the collective interests of independent producers and provided individual support to member companies. In 2019 he joined Miyu, where he is in charge of the legal, administrative and financial management of the company’s projects.

Former production manager in several animation studios such as Milimages, Ellipseanime or Prima Linea, having notably managed the production of feature films such as Corto Maltese, Fear(s) of the Dark and The Red Turtle, Tanguy Olivier has been overseeing the production management of all Miyu projects since October 2018.

In charge for 6 years of the production’s supervision in several renowned companies such as Folimages or Tant Mieux Prod where she was production manager of the series Toby Lolness, she joins Miyu to take the production management of several projects.

Graduated from a master in management of cultural organizations at Paris Dauphine, she first worked as development manager on digital projects at Les Films Pelléas, then as a production manager for Jonas Films. She joined Miyu to manage the funding process and the supervision of the short films.

After graduating from ESCP, he worked in distribution at Capricci and Epicentre, then joined Miyu in August 2018 as a production assistant. He was appointed short film production manager in January 2020, and then became production manager for feature films in 2021.

After an audiovisual BTS in production management at Lycée Suger, a short stint in advertising and a diploma in production at Gobelins, he first worked in animation at Folimage and then participated to ASF in 2019. He joins Miyu in 2020 and is based in Valence, in the Drôme.

After graduating from the University of Caen Normandie, she did an internship at the Jérôme Seydoux-Pathé Foundation and then at Mandarin production as a production administrator. She completed her internship at Miyu in June 2020, after which she joined the team as a production assistant in December 2020.

Former infographist, he undertakes in 2017 a professional reconversion in accounting and obtains his diploma of Accounting Assistant and Payroll Manager at IFOCOP Paris XI. He will do his work-study at Miyu in 2019 before joining the team permanently in 2021 after obtaining his diploma.

After multiple experiences as an assistant director on film shoots, production manager and computer technician, he joined Studio Miyu in July 2019 to supervise the technical management.
