Format

Short films program, all audience

  • Created for Annecy 2016, curated by Jean-Baptiste Garnero, from the CNC Archives
  • 1 hour

Résumé

A selection of films made over forty years at GOBELINS, France’s most prestigious animation school, will be shown to celebrate this significant milestone and also recall the unique and ambitious productions of this very special Festival partner.

The programme is made up of 40 pieces of work12 shorts and 28 opening films, all of them exposing the graphic and writing qualities and great technical mastery of their creators. The films present both a story and many original ideas, created using techniques especially chosen to enhance the finished results.

The programme also includes work created for the Cartooning for Peace project, supervised by the cartoonist Plantu, which gave students yet another possibility to express their talent!
