Synopsis

The tale of a soldier of the Polish army who lost his unit during the invasion of his country by Hitler’s army at the end of the summer of 1939. From now on, he’s a deserter and is powerless. His encounter with a rabid dog is a metaphor of the greatest European war. There, a conflict between the man and the beast – or the man and himself – begins, in a world where horror and barbary prevail.
