Opened in May 2022, the Miyu Gallery is the first gallery in the world entirely dedicated to contemporary animation. It represents the work of animation directors, who are, in essence, polytechnic and polyform, and promotes animation techniques in contemporary visual practice.

Boris Labbé

Boris Labbé, born in 1987, lives and works between France and Spain (Madrid). He studied at the Angouleme School of Animated Cinema (EMCA) until 2011. He was then a member of the Académie de France in Madrid, a resident of Casa de Velázquez (2011-2012), resident at HEAR – High School of the Rhine Arts (2013), at CICLIC Région Center (2014), and at ESCY in Yssingeaux (2015 -2016), at the Vienna Q21 (Austria, 2018), at the Tenjinyama Art Studio in Sapporo in partnership  with l’Institut français (Japan, 2018), at the Cinémathèque québécoise (Montréal, 2019), and at the Vidéoformes festival (2020).
