Boris Labbé

Biography

Boris Labbé, born in 1987, lives and works between France and Spain (Madrid). He studied at the Angouleme School of Animated Cinema (EMCA) until 2011. He was then a member of the Académie de France in Madrid, a resident of Casa de Velázquez (2011-2012), resident at HEAR – High School of the Rhine Arts (2013), at CICLIC Région Center (2014), and at ESCY in Yssingeaux (2015 -2016), at the Vienna Q21 (Austria, 2018), at the Tenjinyama Art Studio in Sapporo in partnership  with l’Institut français (Japan, 2018), at the Cinémathèque québécoise (Montréal, 2019), and at the Vidéoformes festival (2020).

. His works have been shown in contemporary art exhibitions in France, Spain, Canada and Japan as well as in more than 100 international film festivals.
