Alice Saey makes animated films between Paris and Rotterdam. After graduating in graphic design at HEAR Strasbourg in 2014, she animated a sea of naked women, a dance of Egyptian geese and a choir of volcanoes in the internationally awarded clips She’s Young, Happy and Careful. She has created animations for Arte, the Centre Pompidou and designed for Socialter and Reliefs magazines, among others. Her work explores the contrasts between order and disorder, in magical environments where animals, plants, objects and silhouettes are mixed together. His first short film Flatastic (2023, Miyu/Keplerfilm) features a chaotic ballet of manta rays and flattened humans. As part of the Grand Paris Express, she will create 20m2 of permanent frescoes for the new station at La Courneuve – Six Routes, which will open in 2026.
